Driving and Cell Phones: Should it be Banned?

One hundred percent yes! No one should be allowed to use their cell phone in any kind of way while driving.  Pull over or wait.  Okay, honestly I don't even see where there is an argument about it.  It is dangerous and it is causing many accidents.  Most of which we won't hear about because the laws governing cell phone related accidents are shady at best.

My research shows that most prosecuted for any type of cell phone caused accident gets off with a slap on the wrist, even in some fatal cases.  Check out the article Driving Under the Influence of Cell Phones.  This article shows the actual perpetrator in action and the end results.  Really, most people can't drive and talk/text on their cell phones I don't care what anyone has to say about it.

Also, check out Operation Cell Phone Lockdown for those of you who lack common sense and need safety tips.  Harsh, yes... but true.  Most people don't have the mental capacity to do both and it is becoming very evident.  A school bus driver (filled with kids) hits a car head on while texting causing fatalities.  That was one of today's main news stories in Georgia.  Unbelievable...

It's too bad our brains can't advance as quickly as technology.
