Cultural Appropriation by Amandla Stenberg

I posted this video done by the great young actress Amandla Stenberg, who played Rue in the first Hunger Games movie, for several reasons.  I wanted to know how people felt about cultural appropriation, give some a lesson on it if needed, and to encourage the younger generation (Stenberg is 16) to be more aware and critical in their thinking.  She intelligently and gracefully gives us a lesson on this touchy subject.  Click play...
